David is a refugee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He and his family fled the Congo due to conflict and the humanitarian crisis. The family picked up orphaned/abandoned children along the way. His father walks miles into the country, sleeping on the ground, to sell cell phone covers in remote villages.
